Aydogan OZCAN : Fondateur Mobile LUCAS Dr. Aydogan Ozcan received his Ph.D. degree at Stanford University Electrical Engineering Department in 2005. After a short post-doctoral fellowship at Stanford University, he is appointed as a Research Faculty Member at Harvard Medical School, Wellman Center for Photomedicine in 2006. Dr. Ozcan joined UCLA in the summer of 2007 as an Assistant Professor, where he is currently leading the Bio- and Nano-Photonics Laboratory at the Electrical Engineering Department. Dr. Ozcan holds 15 patents and another 9 pending patent applications for his inventions in nanoscopy, wide-field imaging, lensless imaging, nonlinear optics, fiber optics, and optical coherence tomography. Dr. Ozcan is also the author of one book and the co-author of more than 70 peer reviewed research articles in major scientific journals and conferences. Dr. Ozcan is a member of the program committee of SPIE Photonics West Conference, SPIE International Symposium on Defense, Security and Sensing, as well as the IEEE Photonics Society Annual Meeting. He is also the General co-Chair of 2010 IEEE Winter Topical Meeting on Advanced Imaging in BioPhotonics. Gavin SYMANOWITZ : Managing Director GETAGREATBOSS Gavin Symanowitz is the founder and CEO of GetAGreatBoss.com, a dynamic company with a fresh approach to both management development and attracting talent to organizations. Gavin qualified as an actuary in 2001, and subsequently obtained a PhD in Mathematical Statistics. Je lance un appel à la communauté scientifique terrienne, afin d’explorer de nouvelles technologies médicales qui devraient aboutir sur la mise au point d’un traitement permettant la guérison des patients victimes du virus entraînant le SIDA, le virus du VIH. Les particules virales ont une taille de 120 nm, elles sont électrisables par des flux d’électrons. ces flux d’électrons ont une influence sur ces virus. A nous d’effectuer les recherches nécessaires afin de développer les équipements adéquats, et de découvrir quelles les caractéristiques des flux d’électrons nécessaires. Les souches virales sont peut-être aussi vulnérable aux ondes électromagnétiques, conséquences des variations de flux d’électrons.

La 5ème édition de l’IT CUP, le tournoi caritatif de football de référence des entreprises du secteur des nouvelles technologies, aura lieu le 29 juin prochain à Clairefontaine. Plus de 30 équipes des plus grandes entreprises de l’informatique et des télécommunications s’affronteront dans un esprit convivial le 29 juin, jour de la finale de l’Euro 2008 de football ! Histoire, pendant quelques heures, de rêver et de faire comme les pros du ballon rond… Mais le but, au delà du sportif, est bien plus volontiers humanitaire et solidaire. Chaque équipe verse en effet un droit d’entrée, les fonds collectés étant ensuite reversés à une association inscrivant les nouvelles technologies au cœur de ses projets. Pour la 3ème année consécutive, l’association IT Cup soutient les actions de Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF) qui, après avoir déjà ouvert 2 centres de télécommunications IT Cup au Niger (2007) et au Nicaragua (2008), en ouvrira un 3ème en Asie (2009) dans le cadre d’opérations de désenclavement numérique.
